From the Beginning
Jim and Janice Purcell opened Purcell Opticians in 2007 and soon established a reputation for their customer service and clinical excellence.
Widely recommended by locals in the area, they maintained their personal approach to eye care over the years. Jim and Janice Purcell both retired from the business in 2023, handing over to Mitchell Fairley. Mitchell holds the same values as Jim, offering celebrity service and clinical expertise. In a previous role, Mitchell carried out eye examinations via home visits, which covered areas all over Dumfries and Galloway.
